April Showers

A trip to the mall entertained Harrison for a few hours while it rained over the weekend. Memorial City Mall has a fabulous mountain play area and even an ice skating rink... but Harrison loved the cars!

A break in the clouds! Get out the lawnmower.

Puddle, you are calling my name.

You are so much more fun to step in with my boot off.

Forget the boots!

Weekend with Daddy

I left last Thursday night for a long weekend in NYC with my best childhood girlfriend, Becca. Not only did she have her 30th birthday over the weekend, but we also all flew in for her bachelorette party. It was a weekend celebration and I'm still tired from it!

While I was gone, David and Harrison got in some good quality father-son time, but also went out to Katy to celebrate Harry's official retirement. The church hosted a nice retirement party for Harry and Audrey on Sunday and also presented them with a long trip to Hawaii!

David forwarded me this picture that he took from his phone while I was in NY. I am so glad I couldn't open it, because Harrison looks so ready for his nightly cuddle time/book reading with Mommy that I might have just hopped on a plane right then and there!

Harrison loves nothing more than getting in our cars and playing around in the trunk area! (or pressing any buttons he can get his grubby little fingers on!)

Playtime with my hose!

Airplane!

Harry's Retirement Celebration - they created a wonderful slideshow of Harry and Audrey's years in the ministry.

And my hubby gave a speech about his Momma and Daddy!

Awwww!

Easter 2010

David, Harrison, and I hosted Easter at our house this year. My parents, and brother, Andy, were all able to fly in for Harrison's first Easter egg hunt and Harry's last Easter sermon at Grand Lakes Pres. Church.

It was such a fun weekend!

Peegee Hydrandeas by the one and only "H.Slye," almost retired preacher, almost full time artist!

Jackie and Audrey - dressed to kill in their matching outfits! They also matched in pearl colored suits at church! :)

Andy is biking across the US, so the guys are going over his route!

The Easter Bunny hid matchbox cars in the eggs! WOW!

Twinkies. I guess I am going to have to buy Harrison miniature New Balance, also?

Once again, Mom made an amazing outfit for Easter - a beautiful linen button on short suit for Harrison!

Harrison has no fear on the slides, but the swings still make his stomach tickle and he doesn't really like that!

The child can already do pull ups!

A big present from the Easter Bunny!

WOW!
