Memorial Day Weekend

Harrison loved the beach at Galveston! But ofcourse, I couldn't find my camera in all of our gear, so this is the only pic I took with my phone.
Dead tired after our beach trip!

Dinner with The Slyes and The Smiths at Flemings for David's Birthday

We did everything we could to entertain Harrison, but he was happiest feeding others.

Our reservations were at 530p and we did not gt our food until 715p!!! Our waiter said there was a mess up in the kitchen and our order did not get input!

Yummy Juice Pops! Mango or Cherry Limeade: that is the question.

Gymboree fun

Slides are a favorite of Harrison's!

Barton Creek Resort - Harrison and I tagged along with Daddy to a meeting!

Drinking like a big boy!

Crackin' Up with Grandma and Grandpa

Harrison loves when his Grandma and Grandpa Slye come over to visit. He and Grandma could be entertained forever by just making funny faces at each other! It is hilarious. Below are a few examples of the fun they have!!!

This is definitely a Belly Laugh!

And, time for some faces! (and a shot of Harrison's double chin)

HarrisonLand

Mom ran to catch a fly-away paper and I painted myself in the 30 seconds she was gone!
Let's say a quick prayer that the box was right... "washable"

I am a big time flirt!

And still love my hoses

And wish I had a Dog...

But am content watching Seasame Street curled up on Mama and Daddy's bed.

I steal all of Daddy's coins! He said he's probably given me more than $80 so far. My Mom told him that was just the start of it.

I can dish a good spray, but I can't take one quite yet!!!

Playtime

Gone are the relaxing days of kicking your feet back with a glass of wine on the front porch!!! It's go, go, go time with a toddler on the run! We've crammed something into every last minute of our days lately! Below are a few pics from the last few weeks...

We went to Discovery Green Park, splashed around, then met David for dinner.

The majority of our Zoo day was spent peering through fences, observing the large beasts. Poor Harrison got too close to the loud speaker by the giraffes and as they were annoucing the "Dinosaur Exhibit" this summer, they gave a loud Dino ROAR. This obviously sent Harrison jumping into my arms, bottom lip quivering. :( I think that did him in for giraffes.

About 30 seconds after this picture was taken, the dang lion got up on his hind legs and ROARED at the man beind us filming with his boombox-sized video camera. I think that did Harrison in for lions, too. (and me also, if you're wondering.)

I'm happy just eatin' my lunch by the duck pond...

And chasin' the poor pigeons

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mamas out there who are reading this. Being a mother is the most wonderful experience in the world and I hope every woman gets to experience it at some point in their life.

Mother's Day Brunch

My knees have constant "diggers" (as my friend Lori Ann calls them!) these days!

Stayin' Alive, Stayin' Alive ah, ah, ah ah, STAYIN ALIIIIIIVE!

Sun Time!

It's been hot as all get out here in Houston. I swear - it makes me want to jump in a pool and never come out til the sun goes down! Harrison has really been enjoying his water time and we go through about 3 outfit changes a day (he's SUCH a diva!).

Harrison going a little buck wild with the hose with Brandon, who is already soaked! They were on their 2nd out of 3 outfit changes in 3 hours in this photo.

COME BACK HERE!

Loving the fire hydrant!

Daddy left my car seat that goes in his car here in the foyer. It's my new favorite spot... I can now buckle myself in, but the problem is that I can't get myself out after that happens...

ROCK.

Playtime with the Howard boys.

Good morning Mama!

Playtime with Max!

All I need is my stick here and I'm having a good ole time!
