We had a busy weeked playing and catching up on some zzz's. Saturday we took Harrison to the pool for the first time. It was a bit cool for him at first, even though it was 84 degrees, but after a few minutes and some Daddy rough-housing, he was having a good time. We knew it was time to go when David walked toward me while still in the pool, saying Harrison had decided to take a big gulp of water. Harrison was gagging a little and as we are exiting the pool, out came a few spoons of the sweet potatoes I had fed him 20 minutes prior! Ooops! The lifeguard that was teaching a swim lesson next to us was probably so grossed out and we didn't even look back - just gathered our belongings and jetted!
Harrison had a playdate with his buddy Brandon on Saturday afternoon. Lori Ann and I sat them next to each other and Harrison immediately "yelped" in excitement, which startled Brandon, who started crying, which startled Harrison who then started to cry, too! By the end of the play date, they were warming up to each other and we look forward to doing it again!
